About Jon

Jon began his career defending insurance companies and healthcare providers in personal injury cases. After 12 years on the defense side, he decided his empathy belonged with the people being hurt — not the corporations. In 2002, he committed his practice exclusively to representing employees mistreated by employers and individuals injured through negligence.

Jon graduated from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law (1990), where he was a Law Review member. He is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and Federal Courts in both states.

Outside his legal practice, Jon enjoys spending time outdoors — kayaking, hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping — activities that reflect his steady, focused nature and appreciation for persistence.
