Kansas City Employment Attorney | Veteran’s Benefits Attorney | Advocate for Survivors

For over a decade, Dan Curry has been a fierce advocate for people seeking justice after being mistreated, ignored, or silenced. As a Kansas City employment lawyer and veterans benefits attorney, Dan represents sexual abuse survivors, employees facing retaliation and discrimination, and veterans denied by the VA. He takes on powerful institutions to secure meaningful results — not just court appearances.

If you or a loved one has been a victim of sexual abuse, workplace retaliation, or has been denied VA benefits, Dan can help you understand your rights and what comes next.

Before becoming an attorney, Dan was a journalist, writing for The Wall Street Journal and the Chronicle of Higher Education. His background in storytelling helps him present his clients’ experiences with clarity and impact, both in negotiations and in court.

Dan holds an English degree and master’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas, and earned his J.D. from the UMKC School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Kansas and Missouri, in both state and federal courts.

Dan is a proud member of NOVA (National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates) and has been recognized as a Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyer and a KCMBA honoree for his work helping veterans in need.
